New uniforms have arrived! Woohooo!
Adventureline have helped us out with our adventure!
Thanks so much to Matt Browne & Adventureline for kindly donating fleece jackets & polo shirts for the On a Wing & a Chair Flight Team – these will help keep us toastie warm down south & cool up north in our trip round Australia!
We’ve been struggling to get uniforms for the team, so now we can look really cool in our black jackets & polos – soon to get our logo on! Its great to have the support of generous people in our community.
As you can see in the photo of Matt & I, we are also modelling the latest merchandise from OWC – black caps with the OWC logo – these are available for just $15. All profits raised will go to help the OWC Round Australia Flight.
The next exciting news!
I had a Channel Nine Weekend Today interview at Tooradin today. I was interviewed, filmed & got to fly the plane.
I love any excuse to get up in the air!
I took the lovely reporter, Airlie Walsh, up for a spin over French & Phillip Islands. Very pleased I didn’t make her sick. I believe it was the smallest aircraft she had ever been in.
It was a great but long day, we started at 7am at Tooradin which meant a 4am wakeup for me! If this blog sounds a bit incoherent, blame it on the tiredness, not the wine.
The Weekend Today Crew were great – check us out in the photo below. I really enjoyed watching how the camera man setup his GoPros & I got a few good tips that will help us.
A special thanks to Julie Oates who came down to Tooradin to support me & took some great photos of the day! Thanks heaps Julie!
I’ll let you know on FB when the Weekend Today story will air.
Over & out!
Dave.

Linda and Dave, it was my absolute pleasure to take a few pics today for you, hope they’re OK. I have more i can send you, perhaps on a USB stick! Thanks for a great morning also, Cheers…
